Regan Awarded AACE International’s O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award
Dr. Sean T. Regan CCE CEP of Henderson, Nev. was honored with AACE International O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award at AACE International’s 53rd Annual Meeting June 28 -July 1, 2009, in Seattle, Wash. Formerly the Award of Recognition, this award was created by the AACE International Board of Directors in 1995 to recognize exemplary current service and contribution to the Association.
A member since 1992, Dr. Regan became a Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) in 2001 and a Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) in 2008. He has been a leader on the AACE Education Board since 2001. While a member of the Education Board, Dr. Regan lead the task for globalization of products working with volunteers to have the Skills & Knowledge, 5th Edition translated into both Japanese and Russian. He is a member of AACE’s Academic SIG. He is a frequent Annual Meeting presenter and author of technical papers. Dr. Regan also currently serves as chair of the International Marketing Committee.
AACE first gave out the O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award in 1972. Dr. Regan became only the 38th winner of the award in AACE International’s history.
